Police launch Christmas crackdown on crime

MEN AND women who batter and verbally abuse their partners in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area, will be visited by police this Christmas while drug dealers have been warned they won’t be let off the hook over the holidays.

Wee Westies collect 2000 tins for food bank!

KIND-HEARTED children at Lochgelly West Primary school have finished their long-awaited tin trail, collecting more than 2000 tins and raising over £1000 for Dunfermline Food Bank, which has helped establish the highly successful Benarty facility and is sponsoring the opening of the Cowdenbeath bank in 2015.

Jail sentences rise for offenders carrying a weapon
