ONE of the best Elvis Presley tribute acts around will be at the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes, this month. Appearing with his fantastic 9 piece band, performing all the greatest hits of Elvis Presley with Live backing vocalists will be Paul Thorpe on June 16.
Paul Thorpe has appeared on ITV's original 'Stars in their Eyes' as Elvis Presley, winning over an incredible 10,000 applicants.
Turning professional in 1993, Paul has performed over 11,000 shows for theatre, TV, corporate and private functions and shared the stage with such greats as Howard Keel, John Miles, Steve Cropper, Don Felder and Russell Watson.
Paul has an extensive list of corporate clients and performs at many high profile charity events, helping to raise money for the NSPCC, Children in Need, MS, Prostate Cancer, Africa Appeal and Help for Heroes.
Paul Francis Thorpe was born in London, England in 1968 and was a natural entertainer from an early age. At 15 Paul was already in demand as a singer and impressionist. He turned professional at the age of 21 and has never looked back.
He has over 1100 Elvis songs in his repertoire plus 200 songs from other famous singers.
