THIS year Dance Connect will be performing the magical tale of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine at Lochgelly Centre, choreographed as a ballet and showcasing the talent of young people aged three to adult who attend this Kinross-based Royal Academy of Dance School.

It will take the stage at the Centre on March 24 and 25.

The second-half of the show combines free flowing contemporary jazz, street and tap dance styles, with the welcome addition of Highland dancers. A fun show with something for everyone who loves dance and music.

The school now has branches in Kinross, Portmoak and Crook of Devon, running a full timetable of classes for pupils from aged 3 to adult. Classes are available in ballet, tap, jazz and street dance with experienced teachers in both the RAD and ISTD syllabus, who are able to train to a vocational level.

Dance Connect believes in dance for all ages and abilities and aims to teach dance to a high quality standard. Rachel Webb and her team of teachers are able to enter pupils into examinations in dance to a vocational level if wished. The school also has an annual dance show at a local theatre which is always a great success and enjoyed by the pupils who get a chance to show case their talents.
