A MUST for ice hockey fans has to be the screening Ice Guardians at the Adam Smith Theatre, in Kirkcaldy, today Wednesday November 23.
This fascinating documentary explores the impact of fighting in hockey and the role of the enforcer, a position unique to hockey in almost all of professional sports.
Composed of interviews with some of the game’s most famous brawlers, Ice Guardians gives these players a rare chance to reflect on the precarious nature of their position as well the challenges they faced in trying to make it to the NHL.
The film will be followed by a post film question and answer session with Fife Flyers players and guests when flyers players can be asked their thoughts on the film and how they are affected by the situations outlined.
It is a real opportunity for the ice hockey fanatic to find out what makes the game tick.
