AS children, we all imagined what it might be like to be famous.
For boys, and increasingly girls, that dream centres around football.
Imagine - it’s your name being chanted from the terraces as you bend in a last minute free-kick at Hampden Park!
The New Star Soccer G-Story at Lochgelly Centre on Tuesday November 22, turns kids into heroes in their own football adventures. Combining reading with game-play it supports and encourages reluctant readers.
New Star Soccer G-Story feels like a choose-your-own adventure story but with game-style successes to encourage kids to keep reading. Crucially it embeds the child’s name into the story so they really are the hero! Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore - both ex-teachers (drama & LSS) have worked with reluctant readers for over 20 years.
In this session they will demonstrate this new iOS and Android App and discuss how it can support your children.
It’s a game with reading – an e-book with games and a new fun way to encourage children aged 7-11 to read.
