COWDENBEATH will be one of the bases for a rugby camp this summer as Fife Council joins up with Scottsh Rugby to promote the sport.

The camps are designed to be accessible for as many people as possible in an effort to keep children active over the long summer break.

Catering for all ages, skills and both boys and girls these camps will have top quality Scottish rugby cpaches and development officers to ensure that children are in a safe, fun environment.

Beath High School will be the venue for the camp and to ensure that these are as accessible as possible Fife Rugby Develoment are offering two week long camps for just £12 and £10 in Anstruther and Cowdenbeath respectively. The camp will run from Monday 11th August to Friday 15th August 9am to 3pm each day for boys and girls P4 to S2.

Paul Hunter, who is organising the camp at Beath said, "Fife Develoment camps are an opportunity for children of all abilities to take part in a fun and enjoyable week of rugby.

"Kids will meet new friends and have a taster of what local clubs can offer."
